Margaret made us feel as if we'd come to visit an old friend. She was so kind and caring, and her thoughtful touches made our stay special. I also enjoyed our casual chats, since she's full of information. The 1800s heritage home has plenty of character and history, but still feels comfortable and welcoming. We had fun unwinding with a marble game in the evenings, a simple tradition that added a charming touch. We left feeling relaxed and cared for, already talking about coming back. A lovely place for anyone who wants a stay with heart and personality.

We stayed at Miller House by the Bay in early October. You can park at the house and walk all around town, and the breakfasts have lots of good choices. It's a very homey place, with comfortable beds, a sitting area, and a living room. Just keep in mind this is a house, not a hotel: there's one bathroom upstairs and a half bath downstairs. It's on Mahone Bay's main street, so open windows mean some street noise. Margarets dog is VERY FRIENDLY !! You can tell a lot of love has gone into the place. Margarets is very committed, and I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to experience Mahone Bay.

The house's old character has been thoughtfully kept, while the place still feels cozy and welcoming. It's a beautiful B&B in a home built in the 1800s. Margaret was warm and kind from the moment we arrived, and her genuine hospitality and attention to detail made us feel at home. Chevy, the adorable house dog, brought us a lot of joy too. We really enjoyed our visit and would love to return. Highly recommend it for a memorable, heartwarming stay.

This was a perfect first stop on our 10-day tour of NS. The hostess at Miller House shared helpful ideas about what to see and where to eat, and we enjoyed chatting with her. The home is charming, the hospitality warm, and the breakfast options delicious.

Margaret and Sue made eggs and bacon to go with the continental breakfast, along with the best homemade pastries and preserves. We arrived very late, and Susan made tea for us to enjoy in the living room while we had a great conversation. They treated us like family, maybe even better, lol, and I was sad to leave. This is a well-kept Victorian home used as a B&B, with its original architecture and period furniture. Everything was inviting and comfortable, the bed was comfortable, and the cleanliness was beyond normal. The owners are exceptionally friendly, warm, and caring. Breakfast was more than we expected.
