Park Inn by Radisson Toronto-Markham

We liked the location, and the room was clean for a good price. Some outlets were loose, though, and one of our phones didn't charge overnight. The front desk listened and tried to help, but there wasn't anything they could do. I'd stay again, with a portable charger just in case.

Friendly, helpful staff and a convenient location made for a pleasant stay, with everything we needed. The room was comfortable and clean. It's a dependable 3-star hotel for the price, with a few small things that could be improved. We were satisfied and would consider coming back.

The room smelled bad, and the cleanliness was very poor. I also felt uncomfortable and unwelcome because the staff were so rude and unfriendly. Since I don't speak English very well, I especially needed patience and help, but instead I felt disrespected and looked down on. This wasn't the service I expected. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless management improves both cleanliness and customer service.

The one positive was the respectful front desk staff. We won't be back. We stayed about two years ago and it was decent enough for an affordable short visit, so we returned, but this time was much worse. There was visible mould in the shower grout in our room. The hall carpets had heavy stains that looked like bleach spots, and the area smelled like sewage or an outhouse, making the walk to and from our room unpleasant. The pool area was disgusting, with hair and used bandages on the floor. The pool and hot tub had visible cracks and wear, and the patio chairs were so rusty and sharp underneath that someone could easily cut a foot. The noise from the next room was the most disturbing part. There were very loud sexual encounters involving multiple people, plus yelling and banging on the walls. It felt disruptive, inappropriate, and unsafe with my children there. Thankfully my husband was with us. I was also bitten by something during the stay. I now have two large, red, itchy bites about two inches across, and they've continued to worsen.
