The front desk staff were amazing, but the rest of my stay was miserable. The jet tub suite cost $400 for two nights through Hotels.com, or over $600 otherwise, and wasn't comfortable. I had to clean the tub before using it because there was other people's lint and boogers inside. Furniture was scuffed, everything looked dated, there were water splashes on the TV, walls, and ceiling, and the bedding had been put on sideways, so I remade the bed myself. The restaurant food was mediocre at best and the staff were rude. Three waitresses seemed to be struggling with three tables, two of which had just one person. The restaurant host paid more attention to her phone at the waitress station than to greeting people. When I asked what she recommended, she snapped, while walking away, “people usually get the Canadian or Saskatoon Inn breakfast..” That wasn't what I asked for and hardly counted as a recommendation. Staff throughout, including housekeeping and the Bean There kiosk, treated me like an inconvenience. After a mediocre $30 breakfast, apparently my $5 tip wasn't enough, and I had to ask for the other $5 she owed me. I had already left a $5 tip. This was meant to be a weekend away after a horrific week, but I ended up checking out a day early and going home. I was offered a $50 restaurant voucher, though I'd never eat there again, and something about a $50 room refund through my travel agent, Hotels.com. I couldn't care less. It's overpriced for a mediocre stay, and I just wanted to get out. I lived in Saskatoon for 20 years before this stay and had been to the Saskatoon Inn many times for events. It feels like a catfish hotel now, a major disappointment, and nowhere near the place I remembered. Maybe I was extra sensitive because of my awful week, but that's why I chose it as a place to relax and shake off what had happened. Instead, I'm out over $160 and my time was wasted. I never leave reviews this negative, but for what they charge and how miserable the staff were, I felt I had to document the experience. I left the room in better shape than I found it. Book with caution. I might recommend Hampton Inn and Suites or even the Travelodge. At least you know what you're getting.

The staff were very helpful, and the restaurant had tasty food, good-sized portions, and reasonable prices. I enjoyed the experience overall. The pool was cold, though, and there was no hot tub.

Don't use fast checkout. A family member and I stayed two nights in early November 2025 and paid by credit card. We handed in our key cards and left without reviewing the charges, and no electronic bill came through. My mother was charged more than $700. When she asked the hotel directly, they sent a bill full of extras, including liquor, movies, and room service, none of which we used. We only slept in the room and were away on a charter flight. Phone calls brought no explanation, and Visa also got no response after we filed a dispute. Looking into it ourselves, we found that the bill we received and were charged for had a different room number from the one we stayed in. Four months later, there's still no resolution. I actually think staff had a party in another room and deliberately tried to charge other guests. The only other explanation I can think of is extreme incompetence and no customer care. We'll avoid this hotel and recommend others do the same.

It looks nice at first, but the rooms are filthy and grimy when you look closely. The pool was neglected, with lots of bugs floating in it and dust and dirt collecting. The tub diverter in our room was broken, the towels were small and thin, and the grout around the toilet was horrendous. The staff were friendly, but that doesn't make up for the need for a serious deep clean. Even the greasy room menu had just been left that way. Turn on the bedside reading lights and look behind the beds if you dare. The alarm clock and phone should be swabbed for MRSA, I'm sure the bacteria and DNA results would be interesting. The place misses the mark by a lot. It has potential, but much of it looks like it's falling apart. I wish it looked as good as the photos.

We stayed here before and after our Mexico trip, and paid $80 to plug in for 11 days. Coming back from +30 to -32, our car wouldn't start. We'd planned to drive home, but the hotel didn't offer much of a deal for a night on our return. The online rate was far lower, so I booked through Expedia, then realized when I was exhausted that I'd picked the wrong night. The booking couldn't be refunded. Manager Salim told me to contact Expedia and said he would refund us, which he did. That definitely restored our faith in the hotel, and we appreciated it after spending so much on the trip. The rooms were dated and there's no hot tub, despite it being advertised, but the pool was beautifully warm. We'd stay again for the convenience.
