Days Inn by Wyndham Saskatoon

After a 12 hour drive, we arrived in the middle of the night and the night clerk greeted us like valued guests. We headed straight to bed because we had a funeral the next day, and I'm sorry I can't remember the clerk's name. A special shout-out to Amena, who looked after the breakfast room and cleaned the public spaces both days. Her infectious smile and cheerful good mornings were a lovely start to the day. She's a real asset to the organization. Arshdeep made checkout as smooth as check-in.

I needed a receipt for income tax because I stay here for medical appointments, but the front desk lady refused to give me one. She said the third party I booked through would provide it. I've always been given a receipt before, even though I've stayed here about five times and always called the same number. The customer service person was very rude, and a woman came out from the back and was even ruder. That treatment has cost them a customer. Management should give the staff a refresher on customer service.

Better than a "2" star hotel. I got a friendly welcome at the front desk and they let me check in early at 1pm. The room was large, comfortable and warm, with a fridge, microwave, snacks and cold water. I'd stay again, and might need to with this storm coming.

The staff were great, the building was very clean, and breakfast was really good. Our weekend, though, was sleepless because a peewee boys and girls hockey tournament brought kids running and playing in the halls all day, until midnight. The wooden construction meant the floors and walls weren't quite, so we could hear 30 ten year olds on every floor, knocking on doors day and night after we asked them to stop running. Our grandsons got upset about how badly behaved the kids were.
