Motel 6 Saskatoon, SK

A nice little place, with clean, quiet rooms and really friendly front desk staff. Fresh coffee in the morning, plus some Tim Horton muffins for breakfast. There isn’t much nearby besides a gas station across the street, a Tims and a Subway within walking distance down the road. Not much more to ask for.

Quiet, clean, and easy on the budget, with very friendly staff. The shallow pool, about 1 m, is good for kids. The room was much smaller than at other chains, and the bed was just mediocre. It’s way up north, handy for the airport or Sask tel Center, but quite a ways from the city center.

We chose the place because it was close to where we needed to go, and I drove more than an hour from out of town. My cousin checked us in and showed his ID. When the woman at the desk saw he was from Saskatoon, she explicitly said locals weren’t liked or allowed to stay there. Then she told him, “no partying.” We weren’t planning to party, and we didn’t appreciate being spoken to that way or made to feel unwelcome right away. It was extremely unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend the place to anyone, local or otherwise, and I’ll tell friends and family who are traveling not to book it. I’m writing this because my cousin doesn’t have a Google account.

The room was clean, and breakfast was good. I especially loved the pool and hot tub during my short stay. I’d definitely come back. Keep up the good work.
