The double room was cozy and neat, and every room has WiFi and a TV. I booked on the day I was traveling to Saskatoon and got a very reasonable rate. Steve, the owner, was friendly and really helpful. The shared bathroom was clean, and the kitchen had everything needed to make a meal.

The owner is rude, the place is extremely dirty, and there were bed bugs. I wish I'd never stayed, and I'm still having nightmares. For a room, $5 a night might be reasonable if free WiFi and breakfast were included. Around here, rent is $500-600 a month for a 2,500-square-foot, four-bedroom house with a lawn and finished basement. This is actually a house being rented as a hotel to fool people, because nobody wants a long-term rental on this particular block. Worst place in town. You'd be lucky to die with one peaceful gunshot.

Steve is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are private and fairly priced. I preferred the little cabin out back, though rooms in the house are available too. The house interior is really well done, with a full bathroom, kitchen, and laundry downstairs for guests. Quiet and cozy. Highly recommended*****
