Le Gîte du Pêcheur

We were lucky to get the last room for our family of four, with two queen beds. It wasn't very spacious, but it was more than enough for one night since we spent most of our time outdoors. The lake is very close, and the room was very clean. We loved breakfast, and the host was friendly. We speak French, so I don't know what other languages they speak. They also invited us to use the small pool, which felt great after a day on the bicycles.

Breakfast was good, and Robin and Louise were wonderful hosts. They were entertaining, fun to talk to, and had interesting things to say. I have nothing negative to say about this B&B and highly recommend it to everyone!

My queen bed was comfortable, and there’s a TV viewing area by the guest rooms. The walls in the three guest rooms are knotty pine, and there are two large shared bathrooms, one near the rooms and another upstairs by the kitchen. The owner is friendly, though they don't speak much English. Around the corner there are nice lake views. For more, check the beach view on Quai street and the lake lookout from the elevated roadside point at the junction of hwy 169 and hwy 170. The other rooms have either one double bed or two double beds.
