Comfort Inn Midland

The location was quiet, and the room worked well for a night or two when I just needed somewhere to sleep and shower. It was roomy and comfortable, with a king bed, plenty of pillows, a fridge, desk, and chair. The bathroom ceiling had a few hairs and there was dust on the lamps, though I noticed no odors. The outside could use some attention too. I booked a weekday beach getaway at the Comfort Inn in Midland through Super.com and got a very cheap rate. The staff were friendly, and the room was about what I expected, more motel-like than hotel-like. Breakfast runs from 6 to 9am, but I slept in and missed it. Checkout was at 11, yet cleaners knocked at 10:30, which was annoying. They should wait until a guest has actually checked out.

Jo-Ann and Nathan did so much to make sure I was comfortable and happy. The people here are really nice, and staying here feels like being at home away from home. I had a great experience and would gladly come back again and again.

The hot breakfast was decent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed at this hotel in Midland, Ontario, on July 3 and 4, 2025. The rooms are dated, but clean, and the beds are comfortable. I'd book here again without hesitation.

Breakfast was the worst part. I asked for fresh eggs, but they brought out another tray that had been made earlier, so they were dry and rubbery. The breakfast room was freezing because the heat wasn't on. The desk chair was VERY uncomfortable, and the room was dim since one wall sconce didn't work. Check-in was friendly and efficient, but after that things went downhill. I usually stay in Comfort Inns two to five nights a week because they're easy to find, reasonably priced, and the brand's quality has generally improved over the past few years. I do office work in the evening, and my desk lamp was broken. Luckily, the desk clerk found a replacement in an unoccupied room. Shouldn't housekeeping check things like that every day? I won't stay here again.
