This was a clean, older property with lovely staff and small-town charm, and I had a perfect one-night stay after a wedding. It's central and close to District 1881. The heritage building has lots of wood, antiques, and a beautiful entrance staircase; I stayed in the newer bank wing, though I think I'd prefer the original wing, which seemed to have more character. The rooms have clawfoot tubs and creaky floors with an old-building, spooky-season feel. The beds were old but comfortable, and there were cute antiques. I did notice patched holes in the walls and windows caked with spider webs. My bathroom smelled like smoke, as if someone had smoked there before, and the smell lingered in the walls and shower curtain. The staff were friendly, informative, and easy to contact. If you want a high-class spa-like place, this isn't it; if you like character and historic architecture, you'll probably love the Royal. Don't skip it just because it's not updated and has a few beauty marks.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and we had a great stay with our young infant. Our rooms were beautiful and historic, very clean, and had comfortable beds. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. I worried at first that street noise might bother the baby, but it was fine.

My wife and I have been coming here for a few years and love it. It's an older-style place with a not-too-large room, but a bed and bathroom are all we need since we're busy and mainly want somewhere to sleep and shower. The staff are always amazing, and we're never disappointed.

Breeze was lovely, and the hotel has loads of charm. The floors "talked" as if they had centuries of stories. The room was clean, and after a long drive the tub was fantastic.

We booked at the last minute in an area we didn’t know, and ended up loving this adorable place in Chilliwack’s “The District.” The room had such a classic, movie-like feel. Breeze at the desk was friendly, funny, and really helpful with information. We’ll be back, and Chilliwack is going on our list for a vacation.
