Hilton Garden Inn Toronto Airport West/Mississauga

Dinner and breakfast were the best parts of our stay, thanks to excellent service at both. The hotel is a 10-15 minute drive from the airport. The front desk person checking us in was neither friendly nor unfriendly. Our room was large, but the bathroom was disappointing: small, with a small bathtub and a shower that wasn't practical to use.

It's been a few years since our last stay, and the hotel feels like it's aged quite a bit. The room decor looks plainer and cheaper, the small directional lights left the room feeling dark, and there were only paper cups instead of glass ones. We had two queen beds for three people but only got two towels. It's fine and it'll do, but it doesn't feel special or particularly nice anymore.

We spent four nights at Hilton Garden Inn Toronto Airport West/Mississauga, and the stay fell short of what we expected. At check-in, we received two bottles of water, but none for the rest of the visit. Room cleaning happened only once every two days, which was unexpected for us. It was our first time experiencing that level of service at a hotel, so we don't know whether nearby hotels do the same. The biggest problem was the air conditioning. It was very loud and blew with such strong airflow that sleeping at night was difficult. We won't return.

The room was roomy and cozy, and the bathroom and supplies were fine. The kitchen team were fantastic and friendly, making the limited breakfast choices enjoyable. The front desk was another story: they didn't answer the phone reliably, communication was difficult, and they failed to arrange our airport shuttle. We waited 40 minutes, then had to pay $44 for a taxi. I might think twice before staying here again.
