Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale

I've stayed at this property for over two years and usually had pleasant visits. The staff are friendly, the restaurant food is good compared with most hotel food, the basement gym is much nicer than many hotel gyms, and the bellman's dogs are a sweet pick-me-up. But this week my rental car was stolen from the parking lot. When I reported it to Peel Regional Police, they told me 5-6 vehicles had been stolen at the hotel in the past week. I told the manager, Arie, and he disputed that, saying it must have been in the area because it wasn't that many from their lot. They now have parking lot security cameras. Staff helped with the police report and got me a ride back to the airport, but it seems they've had a lot of practice handling stolen cars, as older reviews also suggest. Police said the most stolen cars in the area are Lexus, Jeep Wranglers, Toyota Highlander/Rav4s, and Honda CRVs. Buyer beware, despite the nice property and staff.

Kamran at the front desk was so kind and accommodating, and went above and beyond to make my stay a good one. The rooms were clean, though I would have preferred a more modern tub setup, like a glass shower. Otherwise, I had a great stay and the customer service was excellent.

The pool was the biggest letdown. The floor was dirty, there were puddles everywhere and flooded-looking areas, and the clean towels were in a rolling bin marked “LAUNDRY,” so guests couldn't tell where they were. The whirlpool was packed with kids, and rowdy children were running, jumping, splashing, and hitting people with beach balls. A few guests, including two seniors with a little one, left after getting hit. I was nearly hit several times too, and my partner stopped one ball and yelled at a child after we'd asked them to play elsewhere. There was no food or drink service, although some guests were walking around with drinks. The hallways were cold, parking costs $16, and the to-go pantry was way overpriced, like being back in Vegas. There were some good points: the online chat with staff was fast, check-in online was easy, pool lifeguards were friendly, and the pool was heated. The mini fridge was clean, the room had a smart TV, smart chargers, robes, a tub with shower, and a powerful toilet flush. The Premium King room was big and immaculate on the 15th floor of the Executive North Tower. Elevators were quick during my stay, and parking was plentiful. The pool slide was fun for all ages. Access to WYNN GYM was great, with amazing equipment, a pickle ball court, a sauna, and very clean facilities, plus spa access. QUEST RESTAURANT saved my awful pool experience, and I gave it a separate 5 STAR review. Still, there was no microwave in the room.

I've stayed here for a hockey tournament and before flights out of Pearson, and parking has never been an issue. The conference areas are nice, and the restaurant is good. The Chef even came out during service to ask how diners were enjoying their meals. The staff I met were friendly, and the rooms and beds were comfortable.
