The rooms have always been clean for me, and I've never had an issue with the manager, who's friendly. The hallways can smell like weed sometimes, though. If you're okay spending a few extra dollars, I'd recommend the Niagara Suite for its own jacuzzi. The rooms themselves are good.

The front desk girl was polite and tried to help despite being really busy. The rest of the experience was horrible. I was charged $30 more per night than my original reservation, and there were kids running and yelling everywhere. The whole place smelled awful, like cigarette smoke mixed with garbage bags. My room wasn't clean, especially the bathroom, which had mold all over the bath and pink liquid splashed on the floor and walls. The stained shower curtain was disgusting, and clothes moths were all over the place. The manager was SO rude. I can't understand how he has a customer service job.

I liked the mix of guests and staff and the distinct family feeling. The rooms were beautiful and clean, it was quiet, the service was great, and breakfast was awesome. I'll definitely come back. Just know that as of January 1st, 2018, this isn't a pet friendly hotel. The sign at the front desk isn't easy to see when checking in, and Google hadn't been updated when I posted this on April 19th. I was charged a modest fee for my pets at checkout, which I understand.

I'll never stay here again. The hotel charged us a 150 dollar Canadian deposit, and there's no free airport shuttle. They charge 35 Canadian dollars for it, but the driver charged us 40 Canadian dollars. We didn't know the price was 35, so we paid. The lobby, hallways, and rooms smelled bad, and the staff were moody. This is the worst hotel I've stayed in, 0 out of 10. Avoid it for your own good.
