Nu Hotel Toronto

After a long flight, having Pearson Airport just minutes away made NU Airport Toronto Hotel in Mississauga an easy place to rest for the night. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, and the bed worked well for two. We had heating and air conditioning, WiFi, a TV, toiletries, microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. It felt like good value. The free shuttle was handy. Call after landing to arrange pickup, and ask the staff about a ride back for your next flight. Food from DoorDash or Uber Eats can be left outside your room, too. Taran at reception also let us check out a little late, which helped since we were exhausted. My one concern was that the hotel kept a record of my credit card, saying it was for their file. Otherwise, I'd recommend it as a place to pause and recover between flights.

The beds were comfortable, and the rooms and linens were clean. I also liked the laminate floors instead of carpet. Parking isn't on site, but there's a shuttle to the hotel. I had a pleasant night before my flight and would stay again. I'm not sure why the reviews are so low.

It's close to the airport, and the shuttle ride takes under five minutes. Check-in was easy, the room was clean, and the bed was good. But the bathroom lights barely glowed and need repair or replacement. The tub's water fixture is broken and falls off the valve. The heating fan was VERY loud, even for me, and I'm deaf. It kept running every two minutes. If all you need is a room and have little expectation beyond that, it's still just meh.

The airport is close enough to make flights on time, and our room had the basics for a night before travelling: shower, toilet, comfortable beds, WiFi, TV, and microwave. It was clean, though very plain, almost like a jail cell. That's not a huge deal for a place to sleep. The toilet didn't flush, though, and getting help was hard. There was only one person at the front desk, with the phone constantly ringing. The shuttle took us to the airport on time the morning we left. After our vacation, getting back to where our car was parked was awful. I called several times and kept reaching voicemail. In the end we had to take an Uber to the parking lot, even though the shuttle was supposed to be guaranteed. My family and I won't use this service again. There are better quality options in the same price range.
