Sarkar Suites - 3880 Duke of York Blvd

After decades of travel, this was the most disorganized and unprofessional check-in I've had anywhere. I eventually gave up and agreed with the representative that I'd stay elsewhere, but despite agreeing not to process a charge, I found a 2 night stay on my credit card the next day. When I called the office, they made me retell all the problems, which made the communication issues pretty clear. They'd apparently rather be sued than take responsibility. Prospective guests deserve better. The whole thing took time and patience from the start. Management didn't answer my texts or calls about getting the keys and checking in, and there was no voicemail set up. I had to contact booking.com 3 times to get in touch and arrange the keys. I wasn't even sure I'd have a place to stay. Then I was given an address different from the one in my original booking, and check-in took 45 minutes. I spent a lot of that time waiting in the lobby for representatives so I could move forward with the evening. I was told to move my car in the morning, then, while I was eating dinner, someone knocked to give me another parking spot. Less than 5 minutes later, I was interrupted again and again by calls, texts, and another knock. They wanted to collect the fees. I agreed to meet a representative in the lobby after dinner, but then waited another 10 minutes because they weren't there. All I got by way of explanation was excuses and blame directed at the booking service. Life's short, and there are plenty of other options in Mississauga and the GTA.
