Canvas Moncton, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

It’s a great base for nightlife and good food, right off the main street with parking behind the building. I got to see room 431 for a photoshoot, and it was spectacular, with a really cool view. The building is new and very clean. I didn’t eat there, but I’ve heard good things, and the specialty alcohol shop right next door has some original options. I’d go back, and I can’t wait to try the food.

Our family get-together here has become an annual thing, and we had another fantastic stay. We love the large two-room suite with one king bed. There’s plenty of space to gather, play cards, and have a few drinks. The staff are always friendly, and Tanya has been incredible every time. She’s a big reason we keep coming back to Canvas. This was my third or fourth visit since the hotel opened, and my first arriving with an injury. They were quick to help with any special needs I had. The room was awesome, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Bar55 in the lobby does a delicious breakfast, plus there’s an excellent specialty liquor store you can reach through the lobby. A great pick if you’re visiting Moncton.

The rooftop bar can hold its own against any I’ve seen, even in NYC, and the little lobby cafe serves genuinely good breakfast food. The staff are friendly in a natural way, never stiff or fake. I love coming here. It’s right downtown, but easy to drive in and out of, with no parking gates to deal with and no busy truck roads nearby. Balconies are a real bonus. I love taking a bath in the clean, inviting tub, putting on a robe, then sitting out on the balcony at sunset with coffee and a book. That kind of luxury is hard to find in any hotel. The rooms feel spacious without being empty and are really well styled. Everything is modern, including the TV, and housekeeping is immaculate. There’s care in the small details too, like creamers in the fridge and a soap bomb beside the bathtub. I travel a lot for work and fun, and this is honestly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at.
