Chateau Beauvallon

We cut our stay short because there was no appeal to this “hotel.” The rooms were dated, stained, and worn, with cracked wood and plugs hanging out of the walls. One room had a window covered in Japanese beetles. We ran out of toilet paper, our towels weren't replaced, and the coffee machine was broken on arrival. After we told reception, it still wasn't replaced. The fireplace ran out of batteries too. There are two pools, but the pool table was badly warped. The only thing provided was one bag of coffee per room. The location was far from the ski slopes and any entertainment. In the morning, work staff argued in the hallway and woke us up. It was an absolute disaster.

The lounge was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and really helpful. Our suite was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a longer stay. The only thing I missed was a continental breakfast. There are vending machines and a coffee machine, but some fruit or danishes to snack on would have made it even better. I'd happily stay at this lovely Chateau again. 😁

The free shuttle to the resort was convenient, especially for getting back after apres ski happy hour. The place is quiet, about 5 km from Mont Tremblant resort, with a cozy feel and lovely curb appeal. After a cold day on the slopes, the outdoor hot tub was barely warm, which was disappointing. The room was spacious, but the kitchen faucet leaked, the wood finishes were worn, and the carpet looked tired. It needs some basic maintenance to feel like a 4 star place again. Right now, to me, it's more like a 3 star and could use investment and care.

We had a very disappointing stay, especially as a family. There was no food onsite, so we had to leave for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which was inconvenient with children. Housekeeping said they don't offer room service or regular cleaning. I also asked to have our trash taken out, but nobody came. The hot tub never worked, and none of the washing machines worked during our stay. One even ruined my son's ski outfit. The shuttle information was misleading too. The front desk said it could take us to the snow tubing area, but it only went to a bus station, so we had to take a bus ourselves. The whole stay was a hassle, and I wouldn't choose this hotel again.
