We never had our room cleaned, and the shower towels they gave us were tiny and marked with brown stains. The staff weren't friendly or helpful, and the place is badly maintained. The rooms are very old, with dirty sheets and a mattress covered in blood stains. At night, mosquitoes came in through the AC, and there were spiders everywhere. The pool water was cloudy and had frogs in it. We could only swim around 3-4pm because they cleaned it around 11am. The whole stay was a nightmare. I'd never come back. Bring your own towels and bug spray if you stay here.

There was plenty of room along the waterfront for RVs, which makes this a good spot for them. The location is spectacular, on the river in the Ottawa region, with mountains visible from the front.

The only real problem was the light: the outside lights stayed on all night, and the blinds didn't block much of it, so bring a sleep mask. Otherwise, the room was huge, clean, and comfortable, with powerful air conditioning. It's a good alternative to Chateau Montebello, just a 20 minute walk away.

The room was clean, though it looked terrible, and the pool wasn't heated like they advertised. Breakfast was green bananas. It's sad to see a once-beautiful hotel left to rot from neglect.

Spiders everywhere, so creepy and disgusting. The sheets were ripped, the mattress felt like one in a prison, and we got one pillow each. I'm not picky, but this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. There were so many spiders I cried all night because I wanted to go home.
