We thought we’d booked a room, but it turned out to be an apartment with a small kitchen and everything we needed to make a proper meal. Everything looked new and was sparkling clean. The owners were kind and helpful with our questions, and brought a lovely breakfast of fruit, juice, and a croissant to our room at the time that suited us. The hotel is on Montebello’s main street, near the camping and marina, where you can take a nice evening walk. We recommend it 100%!

The owners were so friendly and helpful, and the morning delivery of warm croissants, fruit, and juice to the room was a great extra touch. We stayed one night and had a big, clean room with everything we needed. Great place!

The owner let me check out 30 minutes later and charged my phone while I walked around town, since I’d forgotten my charger. The room was ready 30 minutes after I called, and it was clean, comfortable, and had a nice balcony with a water view. It’s a very cute place, and at $95 including taxes, it was the cheapest I could find in town. I’d stay again. The Wi-Fi barely worked and kept disconnecting, though.

The front desk woman called my wife and me “Outsiders,” and the whole situation felt discriminatory. They refused to provide the breakfast included in the price, using COVID-19 as the reason. When we asked for a breakfast recommendation, she said perhaps nobody would bring us breakfast because we were “Outsiders,” and suggested buying snacks at a convenience store.

The room was clean and nice, but the bed was much too firm for me. Breakfast was very minimal, just one croissant per person.
