We spent the past week at Boulanger Bassin B & B, and Ken made us feel so welcome. His home is genuine and inviting, with spacious, comfortable rooms that suited our needs. He shared recommendations for exploring Montreal and made beautifully prepared breakfasts to start each day. There was plenty of good food, conversation, laughter, and connection throughout our stay. Thanks, Ken.

Ken was such a great host that staying at his BnB felt more like visiting our uncle in Montreal. He helped with dinner reservations and day trip plans, and we had long, enjoyable conversations over breakfast. That's what made the vacation feel so relaxing. Also, Ken is the king of fruitcake, ask him about it. We'll definitely come back. Thanks, Ken!

Ken's BnB is clean, peaceful, comfortable, and full of charm. The breakfasts are a whole experience too. We spent three nights in the Sunrise room, and many mornings lingered at the table over the delicious food Ken made. One standout was baked artichoke stuffed with a slice of salty bacon and puffy egg white. It felt like little works of art, and the meal set a calm tone for heading out into Montreal. This place is a good fit if you enjoy seeing a city through local life and don't mind slowing down or leaving some plans open. Ken is an interesting person, and even casual breakfast conversation makes that clear. His recommendations are excellent. I've visited Montreal as a tourist more than 5 times, and I'd call him a master guide. If you're open to local insight and the occasional surprise, ask him for ideas. I highly recommend a visit.

I enjoyed the fabulous breakfasts, especially the fruitcakes, and meeting the interesting guests at Boulanger BASSIN bed and breakfast. Ken is an amazing chef and can offer great recommendations if you're staying in the Plateau in Mount Royal. I loved the location, guest rooms, laughter, and outstanding service, and I'll visit again.

Ken makes sure his guests are comfortable and enjoying their time in Montreal. The location is great, the breakfast is superb, and the conversation is excellent and nicely balanced. I'd say stay at Boulanger Bassin B and B.
