The reception service was good, and the location is convenient, though there are lots of homeless people around. Don’t expect much from breakfast: it’s just bread, Nutella, apples, sometimes bananas, milk, cereal, and coffee. The room wasn’t very clean when I arrived, and it wasn’t cleaned at all during my three-day stay.

The price was fantastic. We had a room with a private bathroom for much less than other nearby hotels, and free early check-in was a nice bonus. Reception is staffed 24/7, and you ring the bell to get through the locked front door. Other reviews say it used to be left unlocked, so it looks like that has been fixed. The room had two separate bathrooms, one with a toilet and one with a shower and sink. The toilet room had no ventilation, so after using it we had to open every window and turn the heat up to clear the air. Odd design, but manageable. There was heat and an AC unit, which we didn’t try. Towels and sheets had more lint than at other hotels. They didn’t seem dirty, but the dryer vent clearly needs regular cleaning. Street noise was an issue, with loud people hanging around at night and a club nearby. The windows don’t block much sound. I slept okay, but light sleepers will want earplugs. Amenities were basic: shampoo, shower soap, and towels, but no hair dryer or coffee machine like at fancier hotels. Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 11. All the rooms are at least one flight of stairs up, and as far as I could tell, there’s no elevator.

Good value for the money, and the hotel feels safe and accessible. It’s close to a lot of spectacular places. It isn’t high class, but it’s good enough for a stay.

The room was clean and the location was handy, but the accommodation felt more like a hostel, with very basic beds and little else. The staff were kind and helpful. It works if you just need somewhere cheap to sleep, though I wouldn't choose it for a longer stay. It's in a busy part of town, and people are out enjoying themselves late into the night.

There wasn't even parking available to unload our luggage. We booked for a special day and the stay completely ruined it. I wouldn't book here if you want your day to go well.
