We ordered room service and were impressed by the food’s quality. It was on the pricey side, but the taste and presentation made it feel worth it. My wife booked the Residence Inn by Marriott Montreal Airport for her company’s Christmas party this past weekend, and I was impressed from the moment we arrived. The customer service was friendly and welcoming, with staff always ready to help. The spacious lobby was spotless and beautifully designed, with plenty of comfortable seating, and free breakfast was a nice bonus. Our large, clean room was very comfortable, especially the bed, which gave me one of my better hotel nights of sleep. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed nearby. My one suggestion for management is more fruit at breakfast. The first day there were only a few oranges, and on the second and third days the only fruit was bananas. A little more variety would improve the breakfast. Aside from that, it was a very good experience, and I’d gladly return.

The full kitchen was a real highlight, with utensils, a regular fridge, dishwasher, four-plate electric stove, and microwave, plus a dining area with a table and four chairs. We booked at the last minute, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice for our family of six: one of the few affordable Montreal hotels that could fit all of us in a single room. The space felt made for families, modern and roomy, with what we needed to feel at home. Staff were consistently kind and welcoming, always smiling when they helped with questions or requests. It was comfortable and convenient, more like a home than a typical stay. Highly recommended for larger families visiting Montreal.

The convenient shuttle made the short trip to and from YUL easy, and the hotel is not far from Cote Vertu Metro, Place Vertu, and restaurants in Pointe-Claire. I stayed several nights in May 2026 and would highly recommend it for business travel. The apartment-style suites are large, modern, clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The guest laundry, pool, hot tub, and gym were all useful to have, and there are pleasant common areas for breakfast or relaxing any time. Breakfast was free and had plenty of choices, including pastries, breads, cereals, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, sausages, eggs, and potato dishes. Staff were pleasant, professional, and helpful at all hours, including breakfast and housekeeping. It’s pet friendly and very welcoming to four-legged guests. A few downsides: the hot tub had lots of foam on multiple occasions, suggesting water quality issues. There was no maintenance response to my report of a broken metal prong in an electrical outlet. Things can get a bit busy and chaotic when both hotels are nearly full, and some rooms could use a deeper clean. I’d return.

This was my fifth time staying at the Residence Inn, and I keep finding it a reliable choice when I’m in the Dorval area. It’s a handy base for visiting or working with nearby businesses, and the airport is just a short drive away. The rooms are comfortable enough to spend a whole day in, whether I’m relaxing or working remotely, and the atmosphere is consistently welcoming. A solid pick for a short trip or a longer stay.
