Hotel Europa, BW Signature Collection

For a short stay or an event at Centre Bell, this is a decent option, especially if you’re looking for the cheapest place. I wouldn’t rule it out, though I’d check other options on my next visit. The location is its best feature, near an airport bus stop and a really good Mexican restaurant. There was a lot of road construction during my stay, and the front desk staff were nice. My room seemed not to have been checked before I arrived: it was missing shampoo, the shower gel was empty, and there were open slots in the wall (see pic). The faucet water looked yellow for a brief moment when I first turned it on, then was fine. I could hear conversations outside through the paper-thin wall, and one of the hotel’s two elevators was out of service on my last day. It wasn’t a terrible choice since I was only in the area for an event.

Our first hotel stay felt like a dream. The lobby and reception were clean and beautiful, the room was breathtaking and clean, and the welcome at reception was warm. We got lost trying to reach the hotel and find parking, but staff gave us good directions for unloading our luggage and checking in. They also suggested places to eat and visit within walking distance. There’s a window air conditioner for adjusting the room temperature, and the smart TV was easy to use with my streaming accounts. Parking is through a nearby garage, with a reasonable fee charged at checkout. Delicious restaurants and services are within a 10-minute walk, and the Bell Center is just down the street. The lobby also has a bistro, a Cora's restaurant, a souvenir and Canadiens team store, and a hair salon. There’s a 24-hour fitness area too. I highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return.

We were in town for a concert at the Bell Centre, just a five-minute walk away. The location also put us close to several metro stations and great local businesses, which suited us since we usually get around by walking and metro. The room was clean, the service was great, and we’d definitely stay here again.

Loved the complimentary coffee in the lobby, and Cora in the hotel serves a nice breakfast. The hotel has a gym, and the renovated rooms are very clean. Staff were amazing, and it’s close to bell centre. One elevator wasn’t working on our last visit, but it had been fixed this time. We had a great stay and will be back.
