The staff I’ve met have all been kind and helpful, and I keep coming back to Le Dauphine. It’s become my go-to place in Montreal. I like having no carpet in the clean, roomy rooms, and the Dyson hair dryer and mini fridge are handy extras. If your room isn’t ready when you arrive, you can leave your bags in storage and head out to enjoy the city. Parking is easy too, with the Convention Center garages just down the street, so you can leave the car there until it’s time to go. The prices are very reasonable. Old Montreal, Quartier Des Spectacles, and Downtown are all easy to reach on foot, and the Metro is only steps away for anywhere farther out. I can’t recommend Le Dauphine enough for a Montreal stay.

Marcel at the front desk started our visit off so nicely by giving us a complimentary room upgrade. The staff stayed friendly and accommodating throughout, and both the hotel and room were clean, even with all the winter slush being brought inside. We were there December 12-14, and the included breakfast was excellent. Old Montreal, Notre-Dame Basilica, the Christmas market, and several charming coffee shops are all close by. We had a delightful stay and would highly recommend it. See you in the summer.

A quiet area and a very good location, with a high price-performance ratio. The large room was clean, and the small toiletries, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, were plenty for a three-star hotel. Breakfast is included, with cheese, bagels, croissants, cereal, and fresh fruit. For drinks there’s coffee and tea with several options, plus juice. The coffee and tea station is available around the clock. A great three-star hotel.

The location made it easy to get around. The 747 Airport Bus stop at Jeanne Mance is under a five-minute walk away, and two Metro stops serve the orange and green lines. Old Town, China Town, and the entertainment district are also a short walk. In winter, Place des Arts and its popular Christmas Market are within walking distance. I liked having continental breakfast included in the room rate, and the hot drink machine is available all day. Coming in from the cold for a cup of tea was lovely. My room was comfortable and quiet, and I’d stay here again.

The front desk team were great, responsive, and helpful, and they let us check in early. Rooms are clean and well kept, with a Dyson in each one, and there’s an iMac in the common area, which is a nice touch. You can walk to most attractions from here, with Downtown Montréal and the Old Port nearby. The free coffee machine runs 24/7, which was a big plus. Breakfast could be better, though, with limited choices and not much flavor. Parking isn’t included, so expect to pay about $30/day if you bring a car. Good stay, great location and service.
