The location made this a great stay, with everything in Mtl so close. I spent two weeks here for a McGill course, and the rooms felt like nice hotel rooms, with lots of storage and a mini fridge. Depending on the room, you might look at a brick wall or get an amazing sunset view over Mont Royal Park. The communal floor was awesome, with table football and air hockey, and there's a very big kitchen plus a small gym with two cycling machines and two running machines. Our only real issue was the elevator: usually, only one of the two was working. Thank you, we had a great stay!

I spent eight months in a single room at La Citadelle as a student and had a fantastic experience. The room was spacious and clean, with a private washroom, queen bed, desk, mini fridge, and even a large TV. It felt more like a studio than a typical dorm, and was well furnished. Being right downtown made daily life easy. Groceries, restaurants, the Eaton centre, and McGill, about a five-minute walk away, were all nearby. The building had a shared kitchen, study room, exercise room, and common lounge for relaxing or meeting people. There was also a weekday café on site, which was super convenient. The front desk staff handled packages and helped keep things secure. La Citadelle gave me a nice mix of student living and personal comfort. I'd recommend it to students looking for somewhere clean, secure, and comfortable.

Five days without hot running water, with temperatures at -10 Celsius. Criminal. Students deserve better.

The executive suite on the 25th floor was spacious and comfortable. The dorm is in a great spot, just a six-minute walk from McGill, and is one of the better options for McGill students. It has a study room, vending machines, a large laundry area, and a café. The gym, though, is too small.

Conveniently close to everything, and the front desk staff were friendly. The room was okay, with two double beds, and room service was okay too. At night, turning off the ambient lights also turned off the fridge, and the room was warmer than it should have been. The ice machine was 21 floors down and wasn't working. Breakfast was mediocre and needs a rethink.
