Gîte Urbain La Lanterne

The city is exquisite, and the location and charming room and hosts are splendid. I'm about to come back for my third visit.

We had a very pleasant stay and will definitely return. The guesthouse is just a few minutes on foot from Laurier metro station, with shops, restaurants, and a grocery store nearby. It has everything you need, including Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious shared areas, and bedrooms with their own character. Jo, the host, is very welcoming and happy to share local tips.

I stayed at this guesthouse for two weeks and honestly have no complaints. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there's a living room, two bathrooms, a washer and dryer, and free Wi-Fi. Breakfast is self-serve, with things like bread, bagels, butter, jams, maple syrup, juice, fruit, tea, coffee, and milk. Being able to eat whenever you like is really nice. The place is clean, comfortable, and well located by Laurier metro station, with everything you need to feel at home. Jo is welcoming, cheerful, and pleasant, and always ready to help or point guests in the right direction. There are five separate, spacious, clean bedrooms, with top-notch queen-size beds. I highly recommend this urban guesthouse!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for about two weeks when we first arrived in Montreal on working holiday visas. La Lanterne felt just like home. Jo is incredibly kind and glad to offer advice to help make your time in Montreal and Quebec a great one. The five bedrooms are all different and comfortable, and there are two bathrooms, a big living room for relaxing, and a huge kitchen with everything you need for breakfast. You can also use it to make meals during the day. It's right by Laurier metro station on the orange line, in the Plateau Mont-Royal neighborhood, so the location is ideal.
