For our nearby conference, the location worked perfectly, just a short cab ride from La Gare Centrale and next to Chinatown’s nice food area. The price was super affordable, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was continental, and I especially liked the croissants. The room was on the small side, though it seemed renovated with new flooring and paint. The shower pressure was great, too. I’d definitely stay again when I need to be downtown.

The hotel has a great location, but breakfast could use more variety. Parking was frustrating too. I needed to leave my vehicle for a few hours after checkout because of the competition schedule, and they just told me to park somewhere else. I’d already paid for three nights. They could have offered an arrangement for an extra fee, perhaps around what the other facility would charge. That would have been better customer service.

The bunk-bed room was so small it didn’t feel welcoming for a family of four, and being across from the elevators meant we heard everyone arriving and leaving. Also, don’t rely on messages to communicate with the hotel, it’s better to speak to the front desk. After staying at various Montreal hotels, I won’t be back here. There are better choices at a similar price, with valet parking and an amazing breakfast. Parking was a problem. The hotel was full, so we had to use Desjardins Complex, a ten-minute walk away. That was unpleasant while disabled, especially on slippery, snow-covered sidewalks. Finding the way back to the hotel from Desjardins Complex was confusing, and the hotel had no information to help.

The rooms are small, as some comments mention, but we spent most of our time out exploring the city. For the price, I think it’s the best deal, and breakfast was included. We had a really pleasant stay last weekend, with an amazing view. The front desk went above and beyond, and Erinn made the trip memorable by helping us out.

I needed somewhere at the last minute for three days, and this place worked for me. It was clean, close to the train station and convention centre, and had good Wi-Fi. I paid over $600 for the stay, though, and in my experience that price usually means a really, really nice hotel. This wasn’t one. I paid for the location. The room was okay but odd, with only two small bedside lights, so it stayed quite dark. I could open the bathroom door for more light, but the fan was very loud, so I only did that briefly to check my clothes before going out. There weren’t enough places to hang things either. The little closet mounted on the desk wasn’t tall enough for a suit jacket, so I used the one coat hook for it and had to leave my winter coat in the suitcase. I arrived late at night and couldn’t get in because the doors were locked and I had no key card to access the lobby. After I banged on enough doors, someone at the desk noticed and buzzed me in.
