Hotel La Residence du Voyageur

I spent all Saturday walking around from here, checking out the downtown shops and getting a lot done. The room was good and clean, and the place had the character of an old hotel in a small town.

There were lots of places we could reach on foot in every direction, so the location worked out really well. The rooms were clean and spacious, and management was very friendly. We had a great stay.

The locks felt weak and could be opened easily without the key they gave us, which also made the place feel unsafe. Inside, the building was filthy: there were mattresses in the hallway, the beds hadn't been cleaned when we arrived, and we found hair in them. The pillows were yellow and completely moldy. We had to sleep somewhere else, but the attendant refused to refund us. Terrible service, and the rooms were outrageously dirty to leave for guests. See the images for proof.

There was dust all over the room, stains on the sheets, and hair in the bathroom. The whole place smelled of mold, and the bed felt like rocks. This was the worst hotel stay I've ever had. I wish I could give it zero stars because it doesn't deserve even one. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this dump.
