Hotel Bonsoleil

It feels more like a home than a typical Airbnb. The hosts are kind and compassionate, and go out of their way to make the stay comfortable. The location is great and very well connected by metro. I'd recommend it if you enjoy meeting genuine people while travelling.

The building isn't new, and that gives it a weathered, authentic look, almost like Emily in Paris. The staff were super friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. I loved staying here. It seems perfect for students or anyone travelling on a budget.

The building is definitely old, but our room was tidy and spacious, and the shared areas were clean. The location was convenient, with nice cafes within walking distance, and for downtown it was worth the price. We were shocked when we first arrived, but things got much better thanks to the new manager, Mirzat, who had only recently taken over. He was very kind and did his best to make us comfortable. In a new city, you need someone willing to help when you're out of options, especially on a long weekend when other places were crazy expensive for nothing good. Mirzat did a real good job. Don't stay here unless you're absolutely the cheapest person ever. The advertised photos don't match what you see in person, and the place feels fake. It smelled of cigarettes and trash, and customer service was terrible. We asked for a refund because the photos were misleading. The owner yelled at us and later called the police. The photos show every room with its own bathroom, but that's not true: all guests share one bathroom. Once home, I had to call my bank and report it as fraud. Unless you're the cheapest person in the whole wide world, stay away!!!!!!!!
