Le Petit Hotel Vieux-Montreal - Saint-Paul

The staff are what made this place stand out for us. Everyone we encountered, from the front desk to valet and housekeeping, was genuinely friendly and helpful. My wife and I have stayed at boutique hotels in many places, and this is our favorite. The beds and rooms were very comfortable, too. Guests get complimentary espresso drinks made by the barista and delivered to the room on request, plus a light Parisian breakfast. We'll absolutely be back for our next weekend getaway from Maine.

Weeks before we arrived, Zahra kindly offered to help us book dinner reservations, which we really appreciated. During our long weekend, Zahra, Anthony, Margot, and the rest of the team were attentive and accommodating, with a personal touch throughout. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Hotel, and we'd happily return.

The room was huge, with big street-facing windows and a Juliet balcony. There was lovely music out on the street, and it just felt like we were “home”!! I felt like crying when it was time to check out. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully set out, right down to the little jars of jam, and free specialty coffee, tea, and croissants were available all day. Nothing felt second rate. The linens were lovely, the shower with all its jets was WOW, and the location was perfect. The staff were wonderful from check-in to checkout. Le Petit did everything to make our stay feel like absolute perfection. I just want to go back!!!!!

We've stayed here several times and will come back, since we like the location and the value. The staff are very friendly and service is good. The breakfast buffet is good too, though it hasn't changed in many years. Housekeeping has been hit or miss on every visit, and the rooms are beginning to look worn. We've had a leaking shower and a smoke detector battery issue, so attention to detail seems to be slipping. I hope this feedback helps.
