We liked it enough to extend our stay, and the second room we were moved to is really beautiful. There's an issue with the TV, but maintenance has been out and is helping. The kitchen is well stocked, and the room includes eight Nespresso pods. This room also has a washer and dryer. Check-in is Sonder style, with codes and a key fob. It's quieter than most hotels I've stayed in, and the area is cool without seeming much sketchier than other parts of Montreal. I was pleasantly surprised by the good deal and would stay here again.

Clean rooms, a nice atmosphere, and professional, friendly staff. The location and service were great, and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. I enjoyed my stay and would come back.

I ended up staying in two rooms because I extended my visit. The first was comfortable and nice enough to make me want to stay longer, but the second was downright luxurious. The TV issue took longer to address than I would have liked, though it didn't spoil the wonderful room or location. People calling the neighborhood rough may not know Montreal well. I didn't find anything unusual about the area compared with elsewhere in the city.

The rooms got really hot. There’s one AC in the living room serving two big rooms, so on a summer night you have to leave your door open or you'll boil. That means losing your privacy. When I told the hotel staff, they said, “it is what it is.” I had a very bad experience, and I think the bookings.com reviews are fake. It's also next to a homeless shelter. Don't fall for this, book somewhere else and stay away.
