For my five-day business trip, Moxy was a fantastic choice. Getting an Uber was quick, walking was easy too, and the hotel is close to both the business district and the old port. My double-queen room was spacious, really nice, and very clean. I also appreciated the hard floors, with no dusty or dirty carpet. The pool on the 12th floor was amazing, and the ground-floor food was tasty, with fast, friendly service. Prices were high compared with an outside cafeteria, but eating there was convenient. Everyone at Moxy was kind and accommodating with guest requests. Special thanks to Anna and Alexia at the front desk, and to Sirhand. Congratulations!! I recommend it for a Montreal business trip or vacation. See you soon at the Moxy!!

Really happy with my stay. The food was good, the room was nice, and the location worked well. The metro is just a five-minute walk away. The gym deserves a special mention, it's spacious and has lots of equipment. The pool also looks nice and fairly large, perhaps around 17m long, though I didn't use it. A couple of additions would make the place fantastic, but it was already very good. I can recommend it!

For a downtown hotel, the parking was a big plus: affordable, easy to get to, and felt safe. Getting around the city was simple too, with several metro stations nearby. The staff were welcoming, and the gym, sauna, and pool were all clean and well maintained. Our ninth-floor room was surprisingly huge and had a handy supply closet. This was my first Moxy, and it delivered the modern, fun, efficient design I expected without feeling overdone. A great stay and a solid downtown option.

The modern, playful decor and friendly staff made for a great overnight stay at Moxy Hotel Montréal. We really enjoyed the nachos and fried shrimp, and the complimentary welcome drinks were a nice bonus. The pool was awesome, and there's a gym too. We were in town for a show at the bell center, and getting there was easy. Underground parking was convenient, around $35 per day, if I remember correctly. Great atmosphere and location. I'd stay again!

For $480 CAD a night for a standard king with a city view, I expected clearer information on the Moxy MTL website about what the room includes. I wouldn't assume a "helpfully designed wall feature" means no closet, along with other basic amenities missing at this price. There is no closet. Yes, really. I had three hangers, with clothes exposed along the wall beside the TV, and a sad plastic tray on the floor for shoes and wet boots. There was no iron in the room either. Apparently you can leave your room in your morning pajamas and use one by the ice machine, or ask them to bring one, but there's no board. That's not great for business travelers, especially if you're in a rush. There's no bedside clock, either, which is inconvenient if you forgot your charger or want a backup after a time zone change. Construction surrounds the hotel, and my city view was heavy equipment. That's not the hotel's fault, but the Marriott experience was already very underwhelming. There was also a random stain on the ceiling. I wondered if I should worry, though it looked like a massive water stain rather than something more sinister. Reception wasn't managed well. There was one person at the counter with more than ten people waiting. Cleaners left the room clean and brought fresh towels, but coffee, milk, soap, and other supplies weren't replenished unless I left a note each morning. Something was always missed, which got annoying. Still, the location is excellent, the room and bathroom are spacious, and the decor is unique, though they should have spent the budget on closets. There's a mini-fridge, with plenty of food options just steps away. Reception and bar service were friendly. The hotel was quiet at night despite being sold out to F1 and Habs fans the week I stayed, and staff strictly enforced the quiet policy after 10 pm. I was disappointed and wouldn't stay again unless desperate.
