Hotel Omni Mont-Royal

When an unfortunate incident happened outside the hotel, the staff stayed by me and helped through the whole situation. Manuel was there whenever I needed him and even let me use his phone for almost two hours. Veronique stepped in to help while he was away. Everyone showed real professionalism and support. I’m very grateful for the assistance.

This was a two-night work trip to give a talk at a nearby university, so I wasn’t here as a tourist. On busy business trips, I need the little conveniences handled, and I travel often without finding service this smooth. The front desk, room service, and restaurant staff all went out of their way to help. The ice machine was broken, but they brought ice and extra coffee supplies to my room. When I asked to move away from the elevator because of noise, the clerk agreed right away. While that was sorted out, an attentive bartender made me an excellent cocktail. The room was comfortable and thoughtfully furnished, with plenty of lamps instead of harsh overhead lighting, including a makeup light in the roomy bathroom. The hall was quiet last night, the bed was comfortable, and there was a spare blanket and pillow in the closet, which I often need. I also liked the easy thermostat, mini fridge, decent single-cup coffee maker, hair dryer, wine glasses and corkscrew, bottled spring water, bedside charging plugs, and roomy desk. I was very happy with the comfort, convenience, and service.

The people made this stay stand out. Julie at the front desk welcomed me warmly and handled check-in with real efficiency. At the bar, Max and Theodora brought great energy, made terrific cocktails, and made the place feel fun. The bartender working with Theodora was, I think, Estefania. Sorry if I got her name wrong, but the three of them were a joy to watch work together. The Omni has a warm, stylish feel that balances comfort with sophistication. I travel a lot and have stayed at many major hotel brands, but this was one of my best experiences lately. It was my first time at an Omni, and the care from Julie, Max, Theodora, and Estefania turned an ordinary business trip into something memorable. I’ll be back and would like to try more Omni properties. Thanks to the whole team.

The room was large and nice, with a fridge, and the location is great. The restaurant and bar are both very good. Breakfast staff were pleasant too, especially the waitress with glasses and a big smile. I’m terrible with names, but she really looks after you. Service overall was excellent, and Juan at the front desk is a gem.
