The sani-dump station at Prairie Oasis Tourist Complex is grimy and clearly showing its age. It doesn't seem to get the frequent deep cleaning you'd find at newer Flying J or Husky stops, so keep your gloves on. They sometimes charge a fee if you're not staying at the campground, which feels steep for the condition of the facilities. It's a convenient landmark at the junction of Highway 1 and 2, but the word "complex" feels like a stretch now. It's more of a functional relic. The setup is tight, especially with a larger rig, and a lineup means some creative maneuvering just to get into position.

The room was cold because the heating wasn't working properly, and it had an unpleasant smell. The bed was small and uncomfortable, and the pillows weren't good either. I also had to unplug the microwave to use the TV because of the outlet situation. The place feels worn out and needs renovation and better maintenance. Overall, it was far below expectations and I wouldn't stay again.

Great price and a very convenient location. The rooms are old, but they do keep them clean.

Dogs are allowed to run loose all over the campground, which makes it completely unsafe if you have smaller animals on a leash. Some dogs tried to kill my rabbit at my campsite. There aren't any warnings about unleashed dogs running around.

We felt really welcomed and looked after. We showed up without a reservation, but Victoria found us a room, and when we chose to add another night, she sorted that out too. The room was a little dated, but immaculate, with not a crumb in sight and a sparkling bathroom. It had everything we could need: coffee, pots and pans, a mini kitchen, dishes, and, best of all, the most comfortable bed ever. Even with the campground there, it was very quiet and relaxing, and we had an awesome night. In the morning Barb came by to see if we needed anything. I asked for coffee, and she was back with plenty in about two minutes. Thanks, Barb and Victoria, for showing us Saskatchewan hospitality at its best. I can't wait to come back.
