The chalet was comfortable and clean, but we had a couple of issues. We were short on hand soap, and there wasn't even a roll of paper towels. The bigger problem was the email confirmation saying there were car chargers on site. We arrived at night after a few hours' drive, in a snowstorm with a drained battery, only to learn the chargers were available in summer only. None of the numbers we tried answered until the next day, and we lost about two hours on the first day. We wouldn't have booked if we'd known there was no charger. For the rest of the trip, we had to rearrange planned activities to charge the car instead of leaving it to charge overnight as intended. We'd come back, but they need to be careful about what they put in confirmation emails. Some compensation would've been appreciated instead of just hearing, “oh sorry, our bad, chargers only available in the summer.”

The receptionist told us to leave and said she wasn't comfortable with us being there after my fiancé politely asked for water. We were stunned. Her behavior felt completely disrespectful and unprofessional, and it seemed discriminatory because we don't speak French. That treatment was unacceptable in a hospitality setting. We'll report what happened to the appropriate authorities and file a formal complaint.

The golf course was in great shape, and the pace of play was good. Breakfast at the restaurant was hearty, served with a smile, and the chalet was super clean and prepared exactly as requested for our group of eight golfers. The Royal Laurentien experience was awesome, with first-rate service from the RL team. We'll definitely be back!

A great weekend with our team. There were loads of activities, making it a perfect place for team bonding and for groups who want both relaxation and fun.

The cottage was big and well equipped, but the bed was so uncomfortable. The king bed was two twin beds pushed together. Service was a real disappointment too, with one staff member being rude and having a terrible attitude. Better than a motel, but definitely not a four-star resort.
