I found a food receipt tucked into the sheets, dated January 21 for perogies, during our stay the night of January 30. I’m still in the room writing this. Halfway through the night, I felt something on my leg and picked it up, thinking something had somehow gotten into the bedding. In the morning I checked and realized what it was. We always pull the covers back about halfway to check, but apparently that wasn't enough. The bedding doesn't seem to get washed. The room looked reasonably clean and the location was convenient, but this was in the sheets, not just on the top layer. Really not good. I won't come back. I guess complaining won't change what they think counts as standard cleaning.

We hadn't planned to stop here while driving from Alaska to Quebec, but we were tired and pulled in. What a lucky break. The room was spotless, and even though we checked in late, the staff greeted us warmly and were friendly. It had everything we needed for a good stop.

The motel was being renovated while I was there. Even out in the middle of nowhere, they had fast Wi-Fi, and the place was nice and clean. I stayed one night on a road trip and was happy with it.

I was in Neepawa, Manitoba, for a business trip this past week and stayed at the bay Hill hotel. The staff were wonderful, and the room was one of the cleanest I've ever seen in a hotel. It was comfortable and affordable, too. The one thing I regret is not bringing a bathing suit so I could try the pool. Neepawa may be a little out of the way, but if you're in the area and want comfortable lodging at a reasonable price, I'd highly recommend it.

The breakfast room was serving grey, rotten-tasting eggs, and the waffle maker was spitting out brownish water. The basic rooms were dimly lit, and both they and the hallways smelled like orange Kool-Aid and donair. This was hands down the worst hotel experience I've had. I DO NOT recommend staying at Bay Hill Inn. If I'm back for another hockey tournament, I'll stay at the Best Western hotel that's currently under construction.
