The staff were polite and tried to move us, but the conditions left us uncomfortable staying. The first room was very musty and smelly, with the heat set far too high. The second room smelled even stronger and clearly hadn't been cleaned properly, so we ended up staying in the first one. The beds had what looked like fresh sheets, but stained mattresses and the general condition suggested otherwise. There were dead bugs behind beds in multiple rooms, and the bedding was stained. Floors under the beds, inside closets, and behind furniture were dirty and clearly missed during cleaning. It all seemed to have been surface cleaned just enough to look presentable. Whatever the exact type of bug, this points to serious cleanliness and maintenance problems. I usually avoid writing negative reviews, but this was an exception.

After a long day of travel, the kindest woman greeted us at reception. The reception ladies were incredibly nice, the elevator was always quick, and the internet and TV selection were good. Our room was exceptionally clean.

I felt safe the whole time, and there was a large area out back for walking the dogs. The hotel was close to coffee and fast food places, and it was in a great spot for the dog show I attended. The room was clean and spacious, the pet fees were reasonable, and the service was fantastic. Everyone was so nice. Thanks to all the staff and general manager for making our stay so nice. I really loved this hotel.

It was just a 7 minute drive to downtown, and the location was near lots of chain and box stores if that's what you're after. The rooms were huge and clean, with a comfortable bed. For the price it was an excellent hotel, and the included breakfast was pretty good.
