We’ve stayed here twice now, and it’s still one of our favourite places in the Maritimes. Clyde was always around when we had a question or needed a hand, and the laid-back feel of the inn is a big part of why we love it. There’s plenty of room for a big group: our 15 people each had a bedroom and bathroom, and the huge kitchen made it easy to cook for everyone. We could all eat together too, with a large dining table for 9 or 10 and two smaller ones where the kids sat. Outside, the property is lovely for unwinding by the water, taking out the boats, or just floating in the calm water. It’s also a short drive to Hopewell Rocks and Fundy National Park. Alma isn’t far either, and Kelly's has some of the province’s best sticky buns. We’d definitely recommend staying here while exploring this part of New Brunswick.

We visited in 2023 with ten family members. The park has its own swimming ponds, and canoes, kayaks, and life vests are available for free. The houses can sleep up to 20, though the furnishings and supplies could use some updating here and there. It’s a bit out of the way, so pick up groceries before you arrive: the nearest convenience store is 17 km away and the nearest Superstore is 60 km away. Hopewell Rocks, Cape Enrage, a few beaches, and hiking trails are nearby.

We’d stayed at the inn with a large group before without any problems. This time, people were coming from across NB and some from NS for the weekend. We were quoted one price by email, but the price had doubled when we arrived to check in. With so many people traveling from far away, cancelling wasn’t an option, so we felt forced to pay or leave. It’s a nice place, but the customer service didn’t feel very friendly. We won’t be back.

A good place to unwind and get away. They provide dishes and mugs, a BBQ, and laundry, plus access to canoes and a double kayak. Pretty much what you need.

For the past three years, our friends and I have made this our long weekend getaway. It’s quiet, relaxing, and a great place to spend time together.
