It’s about a 20 minute walk to the falls, and there’s free parking beside the house, which is a real help in Niagara Falls where parking costs a fortune. We sat on the little porch for dinner in the evening, and the owners answered our emails within minutes. They were friendly and accommodating. The house feels like a comfortable family home, with family photos everywhere, rather than a luxury hotel. It isn’t all modern, but the beds were neat and we slept well, the bathroom was more than adequate, and everything was very clean. We could use the kitchen and refrigerator, too. We stayed in the Deluxe Loft, and the name is a bit generous. Its bathroom was small but neat, the bed was big enough for both of us though not huge, and there was air conditioning and a private refrigerator. The stairs up to it are very steep, so they may be hard for some people. We felt comfortable there and thought the price was excellent for what we got.

The third floor room may be a tough climb, especially with suitcases. The stairs are narrow, steep, and hard to navigate, so I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who has trouble walking. That said, this is budget accommodation and had what we needed: a clean bed and clean facilities. It was good for the price, with a kitchen, dining room, and a shared living room with a big TV and Netflix. You can walk down to the river and enjoy a nice walk along it to the falls.
