I live here now, and it's terrible. Half the rooms have no decent flooring, wires hang out of walls, plumbing backs up, sinks overflow, and toilets are broken. There's no heat in winter, and some rooms have no bathroom ceiling. The back wall leaks. There are bedbugs in some rooms, lots of cockroaches, and mold on the walls that staff cover with paint. The air conditioning is no good, and the windows have no screens. The pool is broken and leaking, and the nice trees around it were cut down, leaving stumps. Staff and maintenance are mean, and maintenance harasses tenants. The landlord takes the money but doesn't put it back into repairs, won't fix problems, and won't even answer our calls. She raises the rent whenever she feels like it, and I expect she'll charge for hydro too. Staff keep their dog pen here, and the dogs bark all the time, so there's no relaxing. They have a house with a yard around the corner, so I don't know why tenants have to put up with that. This is a business, not a home. We aren't even allowed to put a plant outside the door. The pictures I posted show what the rooms look like now, and some are worse. The paint may look nice, but what's underneath will make you sick. Mold, mold, and more mold. I don't know why Niagara Falls lets her get away with all these violations.

The location is great. The rest is for you to decide after reading what people say about the place. The owner has gone out of her way to get problems sorted within a reasonable time.

The rooms were clean, and the location is right at the edge of the real downtown. You can walk to Tap House Brewery and the river, and the room cost about a third of what Clifton Hill did. It seems the new owners are giving it a go, and they're enthusiastic and very friendly. I'm optimistic about the place and would book again.

Worst motel I've ever stayed in. The owner trashes people, but the endless bad reviews and photos are the proof. The responses from the owner are immature and don't deny what people say about cockroaches, mice, ants, bedbugs, rooms falling apart, hidden mold, and constant electrical and plumbing problems. There's drama involving property management and her crew, and the cops are there all the time. Nothing works, trash overflows, and the pool is dirty, rotten water and trash. They say the pool will be ready for summer, but they lie. The evidence speaks louder than words.

Marlene at the front desk was amazing. We could walk to the falls in under 15 minutes, and our room was comfortable and cooled well in the summer heat. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're travelling with pets.
