Riverview Motel

On a very hot weekend, the air conditioner worked overtime, and I couldn't have been happier with the place. The hotel was clean and just right, and everyone was friendly and helpful. The owner's mother, father, and daughter were especially kind to me. Thanks, mama, paps, and daughter. It's Ronda from circusbus, and I'm recommending your Motel to everybody. You guys are awesome!

I was surprised by the lake view, and the room was spacious and quiet, with a fridge and quite a few TV channels. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and easy to talk to. The internet did work, but it was slow and only showed a 2 out of 5 bar connection. That was my only disappointment.

After a long day riding, on my way to the campground, this was the first hotel I came to. It looked tired, but I figured it was cheap, so I wasn't concerned. I saw a bug when I opened the door and thought it had come in as I entered. Then after showering and getting into bed, I found a large ant on me. I left and got a refund without any questions. Looking online afterward, I found better quality hotels in the area for just $2 more. The room was dated, though it did look clean. I just can't sleep with ants.

The motel is peaceful, especially compared with the tourist area, and it's a short walk to the falls, about 25 minutes. There’s also a very cheap local diner right next door. We stayed at the beginning of August and had a great time. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating.
