DoubleTree Fallsview Resort & Spa by Hilton Niagara Falls

The rooms were comfortable and seemed to have brand new sheets. There was loads of parking, and the location was great. Security was visible, so it felt safe and secure. The lobby was beautiful, with a cute spot for quick bites. Check-in at the front desk wasn’t the friendliest, but checkout certainly was.

The room was clean, the views were amazing, and the pool was awesome. I’d spent hours reading reviews before booking, and had two kids with me. The only downside was the $35 overnight parking at the hotel. There’s a Starbucks in the lobby, and you can walk indoors to the casino, which has tons of restaurants.

The indoor saltwater pools, hot tub, and spa gave us a nice way to unwind, and we liked having Starbucks coffee right in the lobby. The resort is also about a 10-minute walk from the Falls, Fallsview Casino, Clifton Hill, and the other main attractions, while still feeling peaceful when we got back. Our room was spacious, clean, and cozy, with a lovely view of the American Falls. The bed was really comfortable, and we liked the modern room with its lodge feel. Staff were cheerful and helpful, check-in was quick, and they shared useful local tips. We were welcomed with the famous warm chocolate chip cookie, too. I’m a Diamond member and am usually happy with Hilton, but this was my worst Hilton experience, especially with management and customer care. I misunderstood the parking fee at first, which was $35 plus tax. Whatever caused the misunderstanding, the manager was careless about my concern and didn’t handle it with the care I’d expect for a loyal guest. The pool and spa area is supposed to be a main attraction, but I found the spa dirty, the floor slippery, and the whole area noisy, crowded, and not relaxing. Children under 12 were in the spa and pool without supervision, and kids were diving, putting their own safety and other guests’ comfort at risk. I raised this with the manager on duty at 8 pm on 1/10/26. She said all guests need to enjoy themselves and she can’t monitor them. I told her the no-diving rule and age limit are set by the hotel, and that not enforcing them reflects on management. In my view, the pool should be closed until safety protocols are met. When did Hilton start overlooking safety and guest comfort? Safety should come first, followed by guests’ comfort. Breakfast also isn’t included in the rate, unlike at other Hilton hotels.
