Niagara Falls Marriott on the Falls

The Falls views were the highlight. Our spacious, cozy room looked out over the waterfalls, and we even got to watch the fireworks. The Falls were a short walk away, and the hotel’s large outdoor parking area was handy for driving in this busy area. Check-in went smoothly and the staff were welcoming, though the hotel gets busy during festive periods. The room had a comfortable bed, but the pillows were much too soft for us. The heater worked really well through the windy, snowy winter weather. The bathroom layout was practical, with a large tub for warming up after a cold day and separate toilets and showers. There’s a gift shop in the lobby for snacks, drinks and basics like toothbrushes or nail clippers, plus a Starbucks for a quick coffee. The gym is in the basement, which they call the Lower Level, and there’s an indoor thermal pool that’s especially nice in winter and gives kids a chance to swim when it’s freezing outside. Our room was called the “honeymoon suite,” but its layout was awkward. There’s no wall, panel or curtain between the bed and bathtub, so there’s very little privacy. That made taking a soak uncomfortable unless you’re extremely comfortable with your roommate. The open layout also seems to make it harder for the room to hold heat. It might suit close friends or family better than a romantic stay. The elevators were confusing because different lifts go to different levels, and we saw lots of guests choose the wrong one during our three days there. They can be slow, especially at busy times. We could also hear babies crying and doors opening and closing in other rooms, so light sleepers should be aware the soundproofing could be better. It’s a comfortable hotel with good facilities and a convenient location, though the room layout and elevator directions could use improvement. Still a strong four-star stay, mostly because of the views.

The staff were warm and genuinely friendly, and the service felt thoughtful throughout. Our clean, comfortable room was calm and had a breathtaking view of the falls. It was a lovely stay at Niagara Falls Marriott on the Falls, and that view stayed with us long after checkout. We’ll gladly return.

The view was outstanding, and waking up to it every morning made our stay so, so, so nice. The food was delicious, and the staff took care of our bags right away. At check-in, Krishna greeted us with a big smile and offered us a room upgrade. He explained the benefits, and we’re so glad we accepted. The rooms were absolutely amazing. A huge thank you to Krishna for making the experience even better. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Niagara Falls.

The stay itself was above par, and everyone was kind and accommodating. But the breakfast issue really spoiled things. We arrived around 10:35 AM, just five minutes after the included breakfast ended at 10:30, while the restaurant was still full of people eating. The supervisor still turned us away, wouldn’t let us grab a coffee to go, and wouldn’t refund the breakfast cost so we could eat elsewhere. I understand there’s a policy, but refusing even a quick takeaway while service was clearly still going on felt like poor customer care. A little goodwill would have helped. This wasn’t the Marriott standard I’m used to, and I hope management takes the feedback seriously.
