Courtyard by Marriott Niagara Falls

Parking was plentiful and convenient, which made things easier. The whole stay at Courtyard by Marriott Niagara Falls was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Staff were welcoming and professional, with good service from check-in through check-out. I often choose Marriott properties for their consistent standards, and this one lived up to what I expected. I’ll definitely come back.

The jacuzzi was nice, though the shower felt a bit tight. The place has recently been renovated, so most things were clean, but the AC wasn’t very strong. If you don’t like drinking tap water, keep in mind there’s no complimentary water in the room and no water fountain or refill station. There are no room slippers either, so bring your own.

For $120 USD in the off season, this was a reasonable option, though I wish breakfast were included. I managed fine with coffee and an apple fritter from Tim Hortons. It’s technically within walking distance of the Falls, but it’s a long walk. The hotel was much cheaper than other Marriott options, though it has no Falls view and the rooms are a bit lower quality. There are restaurants and bars nearby, including Hooters, and some people outside were yelling around midnight. That may come with a tourist area like this. Lock your car, leave valuables out of it, and stay alert, and you’ll probably be fine. The front desk staff were professional and helpful. Some rooms appear to have been renovated recently, which made the stay much more comfortable. The bed was great, as was the Jacuzzi tub, though it isn’t in every room. The hotel has seen better days: a few hairs were left in the room’s Jacuzzi, some grout needed scrubbing, and an elevator was out of order. The room numbers were taped to the doors instead of proper signs, which felt a bit sketchy. I’ve seen worse maintained hotels, but there are clear signs of age.

There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, so you won’t go hungry. The room was very clean and spacious, and the customer service was excellent. I’d give the hotel four stars for cleanliness and space. Rates seem to be what they are in 2026, I guess. I’d return next time I’m in Niagra Falls.
