I'm here now, May 13, 2025. Don't count on a complimentary breakfast: it's from the I-hop in the lobby and costs $30 per meal for a basic breakfast. The room is dirty, with old stained mattresses and cots, stained old linen, and stained carpet. The TV is only 13 inches and hard to watch. There's also a surprise $20 daily parking charge to leave your vehicle in THEIR lot. The shower and bathroom are in horrible shape for what the room costs. I'll add some pictures to back this up. The lobby is nice, but once you get to the room, it's all downhill 😒.
It's close to the Falls and the city, and the room was clean and tidy. A decent spot to sleep. Mine had an older coffee machine, plus tea, coffee, and a mini fridge. The view may be nice enough depending on which room you get. Breakfast comes with the room and has a decent range of choices.
My boyfriend and I wanted a weekend near niagra falls for Valentine's Day, since having two little ones at home makes alone time hard to find. The suite cost $365 and came with a heartshaped tub and a king sized bed. We'd first booked it for New Year's Eve, but our sitter canceled at the last minute, so we rescheduled to Valentine's Day. They were pretty flexible about the change. We decorated the room with balloons, candles, and rose pedals, then used the hotel's hot tub and sauna. We had to wash and soak our tub several times, and the cloth came away almost black, so it clearly hadn't been cleaned. The hot tub was good, though the sauna wasn't as hot as they usually are. We didn't use the pool. After dinner, the casino, and playing pool, we got back around 1 a.m. While watching TV and getting ready for bed, we saw a huge COCKROACH crawling up the wall. At the front desk, we showed a video of it. The employee said they didn't have bugs, then offered bug spray. She first tried to move us two doors down on the second floor. I declined and asked for the third floor instead, which she did. By then it was 1:30 a.m. We moved our things and checked for roaches and bed bugs, after reading a review about bed bugs. That review would explain all the mattresses piled by the dumpster. The replacement room had two queens, a tiny tub, an old water bottle on the floor, and stains all over the mattresses. It didn't look clean at all. The next morning the manager offered a free stay in their suite, the same kind we'd already had. I declined because I probably won't go to a hotel again. Expedia called the hotel for us, and they refused a refund until I said I'd leave a bad review if they didn't give us at least a full one. When we got home, we had to rewash all our luggage and clothes. Worst stay anywhere I've been. Do not recommend!
The atmosphere and music choices were a plus, and a couple of breakfast items, especially the corn muffins and breakfast potatoes, were delicious. The meal was pretty bland overall, though, and there wasn't much variety compared with competitors. The service people weren't rude to us, at least. But the room was unhygienic and repulsive. The carpet smelled, the bathroom was broken, tiny, and gross, the shower handle barely worked, and the shower head wasn't detachable. There was no TV or microwave. For a reputed hotel in such a popular tourist spot, it cost as much as competitors, and we should have gotten what we paid for. If this were a cheap motel or knock-off place, those problems might matter less. Please don't waste your money, especially around July 2024. This place needs to be demolished and completely rebuilt. It's your choice, but you should be able to look back on Niagara without cringing in disgust.
The room was reasonably priced, though not spacious, and the free breakfast had several choices. Staff were friendly and helpful. When the air-conditioning got noisy, they moved us to another room. Parking costs extra, which seemed common around the Falls. The gym and pool were unavailable because of renovations, and I wished there had been a microwave in the room. For that price, I guess you can't expect too much. Still, it was a pleasant stay.
