Niagara Fallsview Hotel

The front desk staff were very friendly, and the hotel welcomes dogs for a $75 fee, so I’d recommend it if you’re traveling with yours. Our room was clean and had a great view, though dust on the windows partly blocked the Fallsview. For a 3-star hotel, I also wish they provided slippers.

The rooms are pretty basic, but the service made this stay special. Staff were friendly throughout and went out of their way to help. We were greeted warmly at arrival and got a surprise upgrade to a beautiful Fallsview room. When we had to leave a day early, the team adjusted the reservation so we didn’t have to pay for the extra night. The hotel itself was very clean, and every staff member we met helped make the stay enjoyable.

We loved eating at Turtle jacks, especially the bison meatloaf. The restaurant is really good, and the hotel is dog friendly too. We don’t have a dog, but it was nice seeing all the pooches coming and going. Our room didn’t smell like dogs, and despite my allergies I had no reaction at all. The room was spotless, including the tub, shower, and sink, which made me feel comfortable getting into the bedsheets. The bed was roomy and comfortable, and we had lots of space, a lovely jacuzzi tub, and a beautiful view of the falls. Check-in and checkout were simple. They gave us a toothbrush and toothpaste for free, and there’s a wine opener at the front desk. The young man at checkout around 11 on Jan 3rd was especially sweet and helpful, even when I had to come back for something I’d forgotten. I didn’t catch his name. The service was good, and we didn’t need anything else. I do wish parking were included, though it still costs less than at many nearby hotels.

The room was mostly fine, and we appreciated that it was pet friendly. The big TV was nice, and some dated details didn’t bother us much. The jetted hot tub overlooking the falls was great, and our Falls View room had a good view of the horseshoe falls and the fireworks above them. A nearby large building blocked the American Falls from view. The shower had a lot of black mold, though, and the heater clicked frequently enough to wake us at night.
