Sheraton Fallsview Hotel

We expected the kind of hospitality we’ve had at Sheraton properties elsewhere, including a wonderful stay in Dubai where staff went above and beyond. Instead, our one-night visit to the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel felt transactional and disappointing, and didn’t meet those expectations. We’d brought a cake for one of the kids’ birthdays and only needed help adding another name. When we called room service, the answer was, “Our kitchen is very busy.” It came across as though there was no interest in helping. Even if a request can’t be accommodated, the response could still make guests feel valued, or offer another suggestion. The way guests are treated is part of the experience, and what stays with you most is how the visit felt. Sadly, this one fell short.

Keagan made check-in fast and smooth, answered our questions, gave us a Clifton Hill map, and went over the Sheraton amenities. The room was very clean, and the bathroom had plenty of toilet paper and towels. I also had some really good conversations with a few staff members I ran into at the hotel exchange. I enjoyed my weekend stay at Sheraton Fallsview from Saturday Feb 21-Monday 23rd and would highly recommend it.

The view of the falls was spectacular, and the concierge gentleman was empathetic when we ran into problems. The staff were great about trying to reduce the disruption when the elevators broke, especially for people on the highest floors. But staff were hard to find at times, with no one around the front desk, bar, or elsewhere. We were there off season, so a lot of amenities and places were closed. The restaurant buffet was one of the worst parts of the trip. It was disgusting, half closed, and still cost full price, around $85 for a continental breakfast like you can get free at most motels. The hotel is attached to a waterpark, so it’s family friendly and not really a romantic getaway. Would I stay again? Maybe. Recommend it? Probably not. Was it worth the price? Yes.

We keep coming back to Sheraton when we’re in Niagara because it’s so conveniently located and easy to get around from. Isata at the front desk is a big part of what makes our stays exceptional. On our latest visit, she gave us the best hotel experience we’ve had. She consistently goes above and beyond, and her professionalism, kindness, and dedication to guests really stand out. We’ll definitely return. Highly recommended! 🥰💕💕
