The Falls A Family Lodge

It's only a few minutes' walk to the falls and other attractions, which is great. Parking wasn't free, I paid $20. The room smell wasn't awful, but they could use different cleaning products. The bathroom was okay, and it wasn't very noisy. The Wi-Fi was poor: I tried streaming a game on my laptop, but it kept buffering and I had to give up.

Everything is nearby, the rooms are clean, and the family are really kind. 🥰

It's only about a 10-minute downhill walk to the falls, and the room was okay, with clean beds and no bugs. But the AC didn't work, and the motel is run by an Indian restaurant, so it smells like Indian food. Parking costs $10 across from the motel. There's no pool, ice machine, vending machine, or washing machine. Wi-Fi details were posted on the door, but you needed a 10-digit code and phone number. There were people getting high in the parking lot next door in daylight and through the night. They didn't bother us as we walked by. If you watch the 10pm fireworks, go by the power station. The smoke blocks the view from the Zip line.

Expedia and this Inn have a sneaky clause. Even after paying $13.99 for insurance and a cancellation fee, they wouldn't honor it, claiming there was a 72-hour window after booking. They offered no compensation and kept 100% of the booking fees, whether you try to cancel three days ahead or not. I called to work something out, even asking for 50% back, but got nothing. Horrible people. Don't book with this Inn. I'm out $228.
