As You Like It Bed and Breakfast

The breakfast was better than anything we've had while travelling, with baked goods, quiche, breakfast pizza, croissants and jams made by Miriam. So good. Tim was a gracious host, and we had great conversations with him and the other guests in a relaxed atmosphere. We were also able to check in early without any trouble when I asked. We came for a wedding at Kurtz Orchards, an eight-minute drive away. Our king room was huge, with a large modern bathroom, and all the little touches were appreciated. The property is beautifully kept, with gardens, fruit trees and grape vines. We rarely spend time in the grounds at Airbnbs, but this one was special. So happy we found this gem!

Miriam served a phenomenal breakfast: omelette, bacon, yogurt, toast, homemade jams, freshly baked croissant, cherry strudel in huge portions, and even breakfast pizza. They use ingredients they've grown themselves too. We stayed in King from July 28 to July 30 as a family of three. Ted and Miriam were friendly, thoughtful hosts, and the room was set up perfectly for us. The large bathroom was very clean and luxurious, and I think it had been updated recently. It had a new shower, smart toilet and towel warmer. Miriam added a plant to the bathroom and arranged flowers for us. The big kitchen was open for making tea or coffee whenever we wanted. We relaxed on the patio with tea, coffee or wine, and my son and I watched a beautiful sunset there. The property is well kept, full of flowers and greenery, and it was nice to stroll around the front and back gardens.

We stayed three nights, July 5,7, and will definitely come back. Ted and Miriam were perfect hosts. The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was over the top, and the garden was charming. It's a quiet country setting, about a 12 min. drive to Old town Niagara on the Lake. Exceptional! (D&M, Guelph, Ontario.

Our two-year-old had a blast outside, running around and enjoying the festive decorations. He also loved the lounge, with its box of toddler toys, piano and other musical instruments. This place is really kid friendly. It's one of the best bed and breakfasts we've stayed in. Ted and Miriam are wonderful hosts, and we're so glad we chose to stay. The house and garden are beautiful and well managed, and the whole place is spotless. Thanks again for such a lovely visit!
