The room had everything we needed, including a mini-fridge, Keurig, fireplace, and a jetted tub. It's a clean, comfortable hotel with excellent service, and one of the few large chain options near Niagara-on-the-Lake's old town centre. The hotel itself is quite small. We didn't try the breakfast buffet, though it looked popular. The fitness centre is small but has the expected equipment for a short stay: an elliptical/stepper, treadmill, recumbent bike, and free weights. I'd definitely recommend it.

We keep coming back here when we visit, provided it's not already booked. The price is excellent, and it's a short walk into town. Our room was spacious and incredibly clean, and breakfast was very nice. There's also a pleasant front porch where you can play games or have a drink.

It's a smaller hotel, but there's a lot packed into it. The gym even has showers and a water dispenser, and the rooms are very clean. Staff were warm and friendly, and breakfast was generous and satisfying. We found the location peaceful while still being convenient for everything we needed. My family and I had a lovely two-night stay.

We spent two days here at the end of August, with perfect weather. The continental breakfast had varied choices, looked appetizing, and was nicely presented. Our room was comfortable, with thoughtful attention to detail, and the staff were professional and accommodating. The hotel is attractive and spotless, with an easy walk to town and the beautiful lakeside paths. I highly recommend the Colonel Butler Inn!

Ashley was really pleasant when I spoke with her by phone. It would be our first visit and stay in Niagara on the Lake, and the place sounds like it could make for a wonderful experience.
