Hilton Garden Inn Niagara-on-the-Lake

The staff were friendly and easy to approach, and the location was great. We visited around 2/14 and were given a bottle of wine and a doggy welcome bag. At breakfast, the kids got coloring sheets, and we had everything we needed. Recommended for a future stay.

Shannon at reception helped us throughout the stay and made the experience ten times better. The service was the main reason I had such a great time. Our room was clean and lovely, and the beds were very comfortable.

I was in Niagara on the Lake for work, and check-in was quick and painless. The hotel is right beside the highway, with a Tim Hortons across the street, which was handy. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the mini fridge was great. The TV had the channels I needed for my short stay, and the blackout blinds did their job. The pillows were adequate. Nothing fancy or luxurious, but I didn't pay enough to expect that, and I really had no complaints about the room. Free breakfast would've been nice, though it's not a deal breaker for me. I'd stay here again if I'm back in Niagara.

Linda led our tour and was knowledgeable about the venue and packages, as well as personable and professional. The Garden View room could make a beautiful reception space, with lots of natural light through its big windows. There are translucent or opaque curtains too, if that's more your style. The wedding packages seemed like good value, with plenty included, such as colored linens, table numbers, centerpiece options, and a menu tasting. Prices were very good for a wedding, with packages at different price points. We liked the gazebo as a cute outdoor ceremony spot, but bird bangers regularly go off in the woods behind it, and we didn't want that distraction during the ceremony. They also let you hold the ceremony in the Garden View room. We toured the Hilton Garden Inn as a possible venue, but booked somewhere else in the end.
